CPR & Defibrillator Awareness Session

A big thank you to the members of the community who put their names down and attended the CPR & DEFIB’ awareness sessions that we arranged.  It was very satisfying that during the sessions some of the attendees confirmed they would now feel confident to step forward when needed to deploy and operate the DEFIB’ unit. Their efforts could thereby potentially save a life.

In all some 49 local residents stepped up and attended the awareness sessions delivered by the local members of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS).    A huge thank you to the members of the local community who attended one of the three sessions and also to the  members of the SFRS team who delivered the sessions.

To anyone who missed the sessions and who would still like to receive the awareness of CPR & DEFIB  please contact Gillian either by phone on 01339 755467 or via email on info@ballatercommunitytrust.co.uk  In the event we get enough interest we will look to rerun the session again later this year.

Again, a huge thank you to all involved in either attending or delivering the three sessions.
